Affordable Housing & Homelessness Prevention

PLC works to prevent homelessness and assist tenants and mobilehome owners who are being unfairly evicted or who are subjected to sub-standard living conditions. PLC also advocates for the creation and preservation of affordable housing.

PLC assists tenants and/or mobilehome owners with:

  • Affordable Housing Advocacy
  • Enforcement of California Land Use Laws
  • Enforcement of the Mobilehome Residency Law
  • Forming Tenant or Mobilehome Resident Associations
  • Housing Conditions and Repairs
  • Housing Discrimination and Disability Rights
  • Mobilehome Title Disputes
  • Subsidized Housing Terminations (including Housing Choice or Section 8 Vouchers)
  • Unlawful Detainer/Eviction Defense
