Support Us
The Public Law Center (PLC) provides free civil legal services for the low-income community in Orange County. Supporting PLC is critical to our ability to offer our many programs and services free of charge.
There are various ways you can support PLC in its efforts.
First, PLC maintains an individual donor program and asks for general individual support once a year through its Access to Justice annual appeal. Interested individuals can give to PLC through this appeal by mailing a check donation to PLC or using the website's Donate Now function.
Another way individuals, groups, law firms and others can support PLC and its work is to support our annual fundraising event, Volunteers for Justice dinner each July. Please see the specific page on this site with more information on our annual gala.
Additionally, PLC seeks support through collaborative partnerships and grants from other private, corporate and non-profit entities. If you have a relationship with one of these organizations that the support our scope and mission of work, please contact Director of Fund Development, Charlotte Finklea at 714.541.1010 ext 277 or via email at cfinklea@publiclawcenter.org.
Lastly, PLC is moving forward in its ability to steward individual and organization gifts into a stage where individuals and organizations can plan for PLC's future by including us in your estate planning and/or last will and testament. PLC strives to provide for its clients and community for the long-term and working with our development department can help individuals and organizations realize their ultimate philanthropic goals when determining a non-profit like PLC to receive proceeds or gifts of substance in their estate planning. There are also significant tax advantages to gifts with a non-profit organization. Please contact our development department for more information at 714.541.1010 or via email at development@publiclawcenter.org.
